Since 2005, the Gesundheit! Institute, together with Restinga, organizes the Belen Festival, which brings together humanitarian clowns from all around the world. The Belen district is located in the city of Iquitos on the banks of the Amazon River. In this neighborhood of extreme poverty, clowns engage in a community health effort through workshops, entertainment and shows aimed at creating a lasting relationship with the community of Belen.
